Hi! I’m Meredith Doty. I live in Boston with my boyfriend Dave and our puppy, Gryff. When not in a pandemic, you can either find me at the Handle Bar Cycle Studio where I teach spin classes, creating something tasty in the kitchen, or at LogMeIn: my full time job where I am an Account Executive. I’m passionate about body confidence and use my online platform to inspire others to be more confident in themselves and their bodies to fearlessly chase after what they want.

I am a Big Sister and I also volunteer at a local elementary school through my office reading with 3rd graders twice a week. I’ve been a big sister for 3 years and I still am. My little sister is now 15, she’s a social butterfly and loves going to school events and especially sporting events. Since we became sisters she’s changed schools and she’s gained two new baby siblings! It’s been nice to be able to spend time together that’s just quiet and relaxed.

Our favorite thing to do together is to cook a healthy meal and watch a tv show or go for a walk. I think for both of us it’s nice to know we have each other to talk to if something is going on or if we just want to get out and go somewhere. In quarantine it’s been hard since we haven’t seen each other, but we stay connected and catch each other up. I was sure to check in and let her know she can talk to me about anything, especially since there is a lot of unrest in our country right now. Big Sisters reminds us it’s about being present, not perfect.
