FRÉ is a movement for women's empowerment and protection of the Earth

FRÉ is a brand with a mission for social change. We believe businesses have a huge responsibility in improving the world we live in. And we want to play our part fully, inspiring others to do the same. There are two issues that capture our hearts the most: protecting our planet and empowering women. We know that these issues are enormous, but we also know that we, the FRÉ community, have the power to make a real impact. 

On August 26, we will be happy to celebrate Women's Equality Day with you, planting Argan trees to empower women in Morocco and offering our best discount of the year, to make FRÉ as affordable as possible. 

One Set, One Tree

Since the birth of FRÉ, we have made a commitment: for every 123FRÉ Set purchased, we will plant an Argan tree. FRÉ has partnered with the High Atlas Foundation to plant over 15,000 Argan trees in Morocco to date. This winter another 18,000 trees will be planted thanks to our donations. 

These Argan trees do not just provide primary materials for skin products; they provide women with a livelihood. In order to produce Argan oil, people must harvest the Argan nuts and extract the oils. It is tedious work that pays minimally and is primarily done by women. Despite the low income, many women in Morocco who are involved in the Argan oil production are divorced or widowed and they use this income to maintain their entire family. With access to more Argan trees, these women are able to harvest more nuts and produce more oil, which, in turn, increases their earnings. We are also committed to buying Argan oil from women’s cooperatives and help them better market the oil, with new business skills. 

Argan trees give women a livelihood, and they give to the environment. They help clean the air, absorbing carbon-dioxide and giving off oxygen. This process helps reverse the effects of global warming. Thus, our One Set, One Tree program encompasses our two passions: protecting our planet by planting more trees and empowering women by providing sources of income for marginalized women.

The FRÉ community is made up of real people who strive to improve the world. This is a community that listens to its staff, ambassadors and customers and takes action. Since its beginnings in 2017, FRÉ has donated to causes that concern all of us. These donations to your recommended charities have totaled more than $15,000 in the last three years. Some of the charities that we have helped include Every Mother Counts, Athletes Serving Athletes, National Breast Cancer Foundation, Ronald McDonald House, Julius Hill CHF Foundation, The Body Positive, Fractured Atlas, Arbor Day Foundation, and Boston Children’s Hospital. 

Fitness Coaches - Social Heros Of Our Time 

FRÉ wants to express its gratitude to all the fitness coaches, who are today’s social heroes. We are proud to partner with our FRÉ Ambassadors fitness coaches and are committed to support them, and make their knowledge available to our community. They teach us about physical and mental wellness, they inspire us, they are role models. 

They see our potential and push us to be our best. They remind us to love ourselves, flaws and all, because life is a journey and each day we can improve. FRÉ finds joy in working with so many fitness coaches, who dramatically impact the lives of others every day.
