Summer Skincare for Dry Skin

Skin is made up of a number of layers that form a barrier against water loss. Poorly nourished skin is often the cause of a dry face. If you suffer from dry skin you probably often have dull, flaky skin, redness, and feelings of tightness. In the worst of cases, your skin cracks, leaving it prone to infection.  

A dry face is especially aggravating in cold winter weather when harsh conditions worsen flaking and irritation. Harsh air conditioning and sweaty outdoor workouts leave your skin thirsty for moisture.
